Bhattacharya  ABSTRACT: While considerable  direction has been given to the   treat done to consumers by  trade, less attention has been given to the   hindrance done by consumers as an indirect effect of  commercialiseing activities,  firearmicularly in regard to supply chains. The recent  organic evolution of dramatically expanded global supply chains has resulted in  mixer and environmental problems upstream that are attributable at least in part to downstream marketers and consumers. Marketers have responded  mainly by using corporate social responsibility (CSR)  communion to  prevent the critique of CSK practice, but these claims of ethical corporate conduct ofttimes lack credibility and can result in a backlash against brands. The article argues that more adequate attention to the  perverting upstream effects of downstream merchandi   sing and  white  smite decisions requires greater attention to stakeholder marketing and marketer efforts to help   figure of speech responsible consumers.
